We went natural this year… Child Houston Photographer

We went natural this year, the tree I mean. We absolutely love it.

I just realized today that I had not watered our tree since we got it, which was about, possibly two weeks ago. You are probably thinking, “She should have not purchased a real tree” bahaha, yup that’s what my husband said. I have just set an alarm on my phone to remind me everyday that I need to water our tree, I just hope it last before we leave on vacation.

I see these images and I cannot believe my baby is already 6 years old. These images were shot the night of her birthday.

Being a December child makes everything more special, check out one from a few years back.

Did I mention, I absolutely love our Christmas tree this year! Walmart in Houston for the win this year and thanks to my brother for helping me search for the one I was looking for.

I am done shooting tree light sessions for the year. I only have one more session booked for the remaining of the year and then I am done. Family sessions are starting to fill up for the spring, which I am very excited about. Don’t wait too long to book your session.

Our tree is up and my baby niece decided to help me out. It’s the time to sparkle. I can’t believe she is already three years old and looking bigger every day. I thought this would be the perfect time to get some shots of her, just before the year ends. Lucky me I had some Christmas pjs from last year, they were big on her but they worked perfect for this spontaneous shoot. Three has never looked so cute!!

I still have a few more shoots before leaving on our winter vacation, but before we do I will make time to shoot my daughters own present session as well as her birthday session. I cannot believe she is turning six years old next week. EKK

I love seeing this family over and over again, specially to see them grow while shooting their Christmas tree light session!!! Momma booked this session back in July, have I mentioned how much I love when clients plan ahead? Well, I do. I LOVE it!!

I mean look at their EYES, full of SPARKLE!! In their eyes Christmas is so magical and perfect.

Can we also give huge props to momma, I mean look at that beautiful fully decorated tree, she definitely put mine to shame! I should really hire someone to come over put the tree up for me and then come out and take it down and have them bring it back next year haha. Now that would be a life saver.

I will be back with more Christmas magic from yours truly. I cannot wait to show you my own mini tree light session. Yes, it’s a tradition so we managed to squeeze Bella in on all the fun.
