we started a group of photographers back in july 2013 called 10 on 10 to share 10 images from a day, different weeks, personal or work that means the most to us, so stick around and follow the circle at the end of each post there will be a link to follow to the next blog, leave a comment and show us all some LOVE!!

monday and tuesday of this week have been the coldest days of this year, with that being said we stayed home and tuesday was a very exciting day… a late Christmas gift arrived.

my bug was very excited to see what Santa had forgot to drop off on Christmas Eve, I had purchased the drawing table weeks before but do to the holidays it was set to be delivered the day after christmas.. and well that didn’t happen because it turned out it was backordered so the next available date would be in january.

better late then ever right!!

so with a new table we had to re arrange her room to give her more space and this was just a quick fix.. we upgraded her bed to a full size because she was turning four and she needed more space as she was falling of her toddler bed and it has been a total success.. the only thing is that it does take up a lot of room but we made it work.

she was so excited about her new table that she went straight for it i still have a few more things to do in her room and don’t even ask me but i already want to change the color of her room haha.. CRAZY right… that’s what being on PINTEREST all day does to you.. NOT KIDDING

over all it was such a great day even tho is was 28 degrees outside.

A very chic art party | Cypress TX Party Photographer

She turned four sooo, a very chic art party was in order.

I had been planning this party for months i was on pinterest on a daily basis sometimes all day trying to imagine what the party would look like and how i would set up her table… in the past i’ve had issues with her cake not coming out the way i envisioned it but let me just say that this year i was determined to have it all perfect for her special day so one day she can look back and say WOWZA…my mom this such an amazing job LOL… I had a little struggle with finding a cookie lady after one said she would do them and then backed out at the last minute but so grateful for Kathleen over at Tailored Sweets who squeezed me in after hearing my story.. She did such an amazing job and they were delicious that i even ate two cookies.. lol.

The theme for this year was a purple and gold art party. What i loved about the last few months is that she helped me with everything, I love to have her opinion and for her to know that she is being heard, she chose gold between gold and silver and purple was the go color from the start sense that’s her favorite color. So she gets 60% credit for planning her birthday party she helped me paint that number four and chose for it to be gold, she found the book at a local store it was a total SCORE she loves that book, she helped me label the juice boxes and a lot more so i can say that i have party planner in the making as well LOL!!

Thank you to everyone who made it to her party you made it extra special and thank you for those who came from out of town to be with her. And a HUGE thank you to at Color Me Mine Studio who went far and beyond to make everything so perfect and special everything was perfect!

I’m Four | Houston TX Child Photographer

This day was more special than any other days because my bug had officially turned FOUR.

My husband and i were up late the night before blowing up balloons and getting them ready for her the next day if you missed her morning surprise check it out HERE!

Once December hit she started to count down for her birthday, last year i took cupcakes to her pre-school and the year before that as well so of course i took the day off and decided to join her for snack time and spend the day with her… she was very excited to share cupcakes with her friends at school that she didn’t even mind me taking a few pictures, sometimes she gets overwhelmed or maybe because she was still three but im loving the I’M FOUR i love the camera part so beware there will be a lot more of my bug on the blog…. also stay tuned for her party blog coming soon.
