Hamilton Family | Houston TX Adoption Day Photographer

If you don’t know let me tell you… I’m a member of Red Thread Sessions were we celebrate adoption through photography.

The Hamilton family now holds a special place in my heart as they were the first ones who allowed me to captured a very special and important moment in their lives, the adoption of their second child Josiah! I cried like a baby in side that court house it’s like experiencing a birth of a child breathtaking, magical, special, no session has ever made me cry but this very special moment did and i am grateful for this family that allowed me to be there and capture those amazing moments that will for ever be remembered!

I’m in love with adoption photography, i could shoot them everyday with the biggest smile on my face because i know someones life is about to change. Not only are the children blessed but the parents are even more blessed to bring this small children in to their homes that will be filled with magic, laughter, and tears. They will both be part of the same family and make memorable memories in their home and I’m honored to start their happiness with capturing their adoption day.

Houston TX Adoption Day Photographer

10 on 10 December | Houston TX Child Photographer

As I posted last month we started a group of photographers called 10 on 10 to share 10 images from a day, different weeks, personal or work that means the most to us, so stick around and follow the circle at the end of each post there will be a link to follow to the next blog, leave a comment and show us all some LOVE!!

we officially have a four year old in our house…. December 9th the day i knew that love at first sight was real. This blog post is for you my sweet girl….

you were born at 6:43pm on a Wednesday…. you were a day early.. on the day by noon my water broke, i went to the hospital and got admitted… everyone was there waiting on your arrival, by the time i was in a room and having some ice chips it was time to push i think it was a pretty fast labor. i remember the dr saying this is the last push if not will have to do surgery i said no.. no surgery she’s coming i know it, and just seconds later you were born… I saw you and cried of joy, i held you and i couldn’t believe you were all mine it was love at first sight. I can’t believe how smart and funny you are, i wish i can freeze time and keep you for ever small but i can’t.. i will enjoy watching you grow each day like i have for the past four years.. you bring nothing but joy in to our lives and we are blessed to have you with us. Happy Birthday my sweet girl we love you…

it takes two | Cypress TX Child Photographer

it takes two is the perfect title for this post…

let me just say that these cuties came all the way from Huffman TX to have a very special session with me and i’m so humbled momma chose me to do this years holiday session.. ten minutes before session and it started to drizzle but that didn’t stop us. We had an awesome time at our fun session.. I see Stori a few times a year and this was my first time having Jake join us and Stori was beyond excited to have her brother beside her.. she showed me, well they both showed me their gymnastic skills….WOWZA is all i have to say, about this two… you can see the love these two have for each other and how different and like they are… mmm and yes you can see how happy miss Stori was around her big brother and just enjoying her afternoon i think she even forgot i was there shooting. So happy rain went away and we were able to have a great evening.
