Very thankful for the rainy week that we got even tho I had to reschedule a few sessions for this up coming week i got to see my daughter have fun playing in the rain, she had a chance to wear her boots and coat that we had got in the mail a week before it poured on us. I in particular love the rain for many reasons, you can lay back and relax, cuddle with your hubby or kids watching movies, but we like to be a little more spontaneous and go out and get a little wet while playing in the rain. I use to do it a lot when i was a kid specially in the summer when i was in mexico visiting my grandparents, nothing like getting all the kids from the block and slide on the sidewalk and wait for the roof water to hit your head, now those are good memories of me playing in the rain and i’m so happy I have the chance to share those with her and even make them more memorable by having fun with her and watch her laugh and smile like she did while i was capturing her fun in the rain. Always enjoy those moments even if you think they are the smallest because those are the ones that really matter down the rd.

Another summer weekend and unfortunately B is sick and she was in bed most of the weekend. Sick means movie time and of course her first choice was Tangled one of her favorite princess’s, so i decided to get my camera and do a little inside shoot, first thing she said was “i’m sick” lol, even when she is sick she looks her best.. but of course what can i say right she’s my daughter, right? I always make the best out of everything ans when she gets sick i take advantage of the cuddle time that i get with her as she is growing everyday and almost 4 years makes it harder to want mommy 🙁

I love that she needs me to carry her which i never do because she’s a big girl now but as soon as i have her in my arms i go back to 2009 when she was first put in my arms and i have this huge heat in my body because it’s love at first sight. Enjoy every cuddle you can get because by the time you realize they will be headed to college.
